Spring 2017

Information for the Year 5 trip to Highclere Castle on Wednesday 8th March 2017

Dear Parents,

On the day of the trip the children will need to be in school by 8:10am as we will be leaving at 8:30am.

We will be returning at 4pm

The children may have the opportunity to purchase a souvenir.  We would suggest that the children bring in no more than £5.

The children will need a packed lunch.  Please place this in a bag such as a rucksack as the children will need to carry it at times.

The children will need to wear their school uniform and comfortable schools.  They will also need to bring a coat as they will be outside for a short period of time.

Thank you for your support

Miss Green and Miss Loughney

We are half way through a 10 week music project & after a shaky start have made accelerated progress, due to the class’s 5-minute daily practices!!

The photo shows the class playing on 9th February:  playing a 2-part harmony, which we were told, some schools barely manage after the full 10-week’s tuition!!

Autumn 2016

Meet the Teacher Evening - 28th September 2016

On Wednesday 28th September 2016 18.00-19.00, there was a Key Stage 2 (Yr3-6) open evening. This gave parents the opportunity to find out about what goes on inside the classroom and a little bit more about school life at The Good Shepherd.
