Give

Giving might involve charity work by offering time or material gifts.  It can also involve contributing time and energy to share skills or knowledge.  Giving might be an act of kindness or supporting a friend in need; it might be about being extra tolerant around our family or friends.

When we give, we develop a sense of trust; we can bring people closer to us and connect with them ourselves.  Giving can help to instil a sense of belonging.  The expression of gratitude to those who have given to us, and showing gratitude through our faith, can help us to feel more positive about our lives.
