A Journey in Love" Relationship and Sex Education
Thank you to those parents who attended the meeting about Relationships and Sex Education. We hope we were able to answer any questions you had and put minds at ease about what will be covered in the lessons at school.
Following on from the meeting, lessons based on the ‘Journey in Love’ scheme will begin in each year group from next week. They may be one lesson a week or the work could be covered over a few afternoons. This will depend on the year group’s timetable and when their family worship is. Please take the opportunity to talk to your child about their lessons and answer any questions they may have.
If you wish to withdraw your child from the ‘Journey in Love’ lessons, you may do so this year; but you will need to put this in writing before Wednesday 19th June. Please be aware that from September 2020 Relationship lessons will be statutory and parents will not be able to withdraw their children from these lessons.
