Dear Parents/Carers, 

 

We are pleased to announce that children in Year 1 and Year 2 will be going on a trip to the Thinktank Science Museum in Birmingham. 

The visit will take place on Friday 10th July. We will be leaving school at 8:30am and returning at approximately 3:30pm. 

This trip will provide an exciting opportunity for the children to explore and enhance their scientific knowledge through interactive exhibits and experiences. 

 

In order for the trip to go ahead, we ask for a voluntary contribution of £22.50 per child. This cost includes travel and entry to the museum. As we are now a cashless school, payment should be made via MCAS (My Child At School App – Bromcom), and can be made in instalments. 

 

Please give permission for your child to attend by completing the permission form on MCAS. Further details regarding deadlines will be shared via the app. 

 

We ask that children bring a packed lunch in a named, disposable bag. Packed lunches will be provided for children who are entitled to free school meals. 

Children should arrive at school promptly at 8.15am on the day and must wear full school uniform. Please do not send any money with your child, as we will not be visiting the gift shop. 

 

If your child requires travel sickness medication, please ensure it is given before school. If a second dose is needed for the return journey, please provide this in a named envelope to your child’s class teacher.
