Throughout the week, pupils have been learning all about Sir David’s incredible life, his inspiring work with wildlife and nature, and the importance of caring for our world.

In Forest School, Miss Sharon and Miss Eleanor worked with every class to create a fantastic display to mark this very special occasion. Before lunch today, children from Years 3 to 6 gathered around the display to sing “Happy Birthday” to Sir David together.

Across the whole school, classes have taken part in a range of activities inspired by Sir David and his love of the natural world. It has been a wonderful day filled with learning, creativity, and celebration for everyone at Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School.

Thank you for everything, Sir David — and Happy Birthday!
