Community First Responders

We are so grateful to our amazing Community First Responders who visited The Good Shepherd this week to teach Years 4, 5 & 6 essential life skills. During the sessions, the children learned about the chain of survival in a cardiac arrest, how to place someone in the recovery position, CPR, and how to use a defibrillator. They also discussed what happens when calling 999, the importance of knowing your address, and the What3Words app. We are so thankful to have many dedicated volunteers in our community who come into school to share their knowledge and expertise, giving our children skills that could one day save lives. We look forward to sharing some photos from these inspiring sessions!
