Head Teachers can ask teachers if they plan to strike, however teachers do not have to respond.

I am confident that the teachers at the Good Shepherd will communicate their intentions over the days ahead. I would therefore ask parents to make a note of the dates above and begin to formulate a plan in the event that we are not able to open classes on the days that there is strike action.

I understand how concerning this may be for all parents and we will do everything that we can to give as much notice as possible in the event of ‘partial’ or ‘whole’ school closure.

When I receive further guidance and information, I shall let you know.
