We are looking to recruit a new governor to join our Local Academy Committee (LAC) in offering a mix of different skills, experience and local knowledge to work strategically together to support the school.
Black History Month is an occasion to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of Black people to British society.
The government have been investigating the presence of RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) in buildings over the last few months. It is a lightweight form of concrete used in roof, floor, cladding and wall construction in the UK from the mid-1950s to the mid-1980.
As a Multi Academy Trust the responsibility lies with us to ensure that our buildings are safe.

On Saturday 17th June 2023 The National Education Union (NEU) announced that its ballot of teacher members in England has met the thresholds required to commence industrial action on the following dates;
• Wednesday 5 th July 2023
• Friday 7th July 2023
Rhino Sports Summer Camp is available to book
You will be aware that here at The Good Shepherd, we currently run an After-School Homework Club from 3.15pm-5.00pm.
Initially we had two dedicated staff members who set up the club to provide wraparound care which offered an opportunity for children to do homework and have a snack as well as socialise with friends.
I am writing to you after the events of yesterday within our local community.
