Black History Month is an occasion to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of Black people to British society. The theme for Black History Month 2023 is 'Saluting our Sisters'. It highlights the crucial role Black women have played in shaping history, inspiring change and building communities. At the Good Shepherd we will be recognising the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the Empire Windrush and Black Women who have made a difference in History. Feel free to come to KS2 building on Tuesday the 10th after school to view our exhibition on Black History Month.
