An Update from Mrs Dodds
Following the Prime Minister's briefing yesterday, we are seeking further clarification regarding the implications from our school.
We will keep you fully updated once we have received this from our Local Authority and Trust. Thank you all for your continued support during this unprecedented time.
We understand that many of you will have questions about the week ahead; please be assured that we are passing all the information we have along to you.
We will be sharing information via ParentMail and the school website as well as Facebook and Twitter, so do please keep checking.
As I am sure you can imagine, every member of school staff will be working very hard to ensure that the next 2 days are as smooth as possible. To assist us with this, please avoid calling the school unless absolutely necessary today and tomorrow.
We would like to achieve something positive tomorrow as it will be our last normal day of operations. To that end, we will be allowing children to come into school in colourful and cheerful clothing in exchange for an item of tinned or packet food which will be distributed to local food banks.
We know that everyone is anxious about the current climate, but we would like to do something as a school community to help people who need it most.
We will be in touch as soon as possible with further information.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs C Dodds
Head Teacher
